Blackness adapts to changing social climates with ease, but it remains, at its base, the same. My current work explores the theme of Blackness and how we can remain connected, even while reeling from a global pandemic.
Biography
Melissa Alexander is obsessed with the idea of celebrating the individual and understanding the nuances that make them stand out. As an act of resistance, she has been working on projects that dismantle racial injustice in the United States.
